Copy your table
Paste spreadsheet cells as tab-separated text, or load a CSV file with headers.
Writing & development / Made for the task at hand
Turn pasted spreadsheet cells, CSV or TSV into a Markdown table. Choose alignment, escape pipes and copy or download clean Markdown.
Add your source, or try the example, then choose “Make my table”.
Results are temporary. Download anything you want to keep.
A practical little workflow
Paste spreadsheet cells as tab-separated text, or load a CSV file with headers.
Choose left, center or right alignment. Pipes and backslashes are escaped; cell line breaks become HTML breaks.
Copy the generated Markdown or download a .md file. Preview it in the renderer you publish with.
Before you get started
Built for a focused job.
Review important results before use.
This version accepts text tables, not XLSX. Copy a range from Excel or Google Sheets, or export the sheet as CSV first.
Table and HTML support vary. The result uses pipe tables and <br> for multiline cells. Check it in your Markdown app, and review raw HTML already present in source cells.
The table preview shows parsed cells. The output is the generated Markdown source; your destination renderer controls its final appearance.
